How is it possible that both the audience and soundboard copies all have Not Fade and Bird Song missing? Did aliens come down and vamp everybody’s brain and the tape deck to remove these two tunes? Strange indeed.

Great sound but there's at least one glitch: Me & My Uncle 00.21 (and possibly more but I haven't ventured beyond that point). None of the other versions have this glitch so I think I'd prefer them.
I've found with the Charlie Millers several that have glitches and stuff that the other versions don't have. Considering the high regard he's held in and the loving care he obviously puts into his work, I've always thought it odd. I confess I'm no technological expert and I can believe that these faults are nothing to do with him and perhaps just something that occurs in the act of posting them on this site. I can't believe he'd miss them.
A shame because his stuff is always great-sounding.

Thanx Charlie, Harvey, Craig, and Joe. Great audience, nice raw show. Hoping one day to get the missing tunes. Almost sounds as if the two sets are of different sources. I am playing Sugaree on my radio show this week. Peace

Damn. Just when you think it can't get better....
Both of these shows at the Palladium are outstanding and examples of some of the best AUD recordings from this time. Well, Mr. Miller has worked his magic and improved on what had been available before. Levels are more even and a moved up a bit, giving the whole show a little more "punch". Also be sure to chech Mr. Miller's work on the next night's show, also an improvement.
